Notice to City of Lakeport Businesses and Residents
2nd Street Sidewalk Improvements Project
Team Ghilotti, Inc. (TGI) has contracted with the City of Lakeport to perform the 2nd Street Sidewalk Improvements Project. This notice is to familiarize neighbors, businesses, and residents in the area with the project scope, schedule of work and effects on traffic and parking.
Work will begin August 31st and continue for approximately 3 months. The work will be done in 2 phases. Phase 1 is on 2nd Street between Park and Main. The work includes new sidewalk on the north side of the street and an asphalt overlay over the entire street. During Phase 1 this section of 2nd St will be closed off to through traffic. Phase 2 is replacing sidewalk on Park St in front of City Hall, the road will be open during this phase. All work will be performed during day shift working hours between 7:00AM to 7:00PM.
Temporary lane closures, vehicle and pedestrian detours will be implemented at various stages of the project. For everyone’s safety please observe the temporary traffic control signage.
