Coastal Cleanup Day Recap
Lakeport Disposal reported 680 pounds of trash and debris were collected by volunteers (with a big assist from Lakeport Public Works Department staff) at last Saturday’s Lake County Coastal Cleanup Day!! That’s a great total and we thank everyone who participated to help keep Clear Lake and our local waterways trash-free! We plan to do it again in 2024 in partnership with Lake County Water Resources Department!
We focused on the shoreline areas near Library Park at Lakeport, CA and also collected junk & debris from the Forbes Creek watershed near the City’s Corporation Yard south of Martin Street.
