Lake County Library Presents: Every Woman Counts

Peggy Krumwiede Bartley, a health educator with California Health Collaborative (CHC), will present “Every Woman Counts,” a free health education class for the public, at each branch of the Lake County Library on March 2 and March 3. For more information call 263-8817.

Two classes will be held on March 2, one at 10:00 a.m. at Redbud Library and one at 12:00 noon at Middletown Library. Middletown Library is located at 21256 Washington Street in Middletown. Redbud Library is located at 14785 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake.

                Two classes will be held on March 3, one at 12:00 noon at Upper Lake Library and one at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeport Library. Upper Lake Library is located at 310 2nd Street in Upper Lake. Lakeport Library is located at 1425 N. High Street in Lakeport.

                This class is designed for all community members to learn about early detection of breast and cervical cancer, risk factors and screening and prevention. Class guests will have a chance to find out if they qualify for free breast and cervical cancer screenings.
