Community Development Department
The City of Lakeport Community Development Department is responsible for Planning, Building Inspection, Code Enforcement, and Business Licensing. In addition, the Community Development Department shares responsibility with other City departments in dealing with Economic Development, Park Planning, Utility and Infrastructure Planning, Sewer and Water Administration, Storm Water Management and more.
The Community Development Department is located within Lakeport City Hall at 225 Park Street. City Hall is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, closed on Fridays. Staff is available to answer questions at the public counter, by phone or email during normal business hours, (707) 263-5615 x 204 or via email at: cddinfo@cityoflakeport.com. There are times when staff is not available and scheduling an appointment is recommended.
