The City of Lakeport is developing an update to their Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). Drought, wildfires, floods, severe weather and yes, even pandemics, are just a few of the hazards Lakeport has faced over the last several years. While many hazards cannot be prevented, a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan provides the foundation for our community’s response to disasters and emergencies.
We believe the people most familiar with the hazards we face are those that live and work in our community. This is why we are taking this opportunity to seek input and comment from the public as part of our review and update process. Planning participants also include local, state and federal agencies.
