Officer Katie Hutchins Joins Lakeport Police
The Lakeport Police Department and the City of Lakeport are welcoming Katie Hutchins as the newest police officer on the local force. She is a Lake County resident and graduate of Middletown High School. In 2019 she graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College Public Safety Training Center Police Academy and has served as a Calistoga police officer.

In introducing Hutchins to the Lakeport City Council and community on October 19, Chief Brad Rasmussen announced that there are now, for the first time in its history, four female officers serving in the ranks of the Lakeport Police Department.

“We encourage our residents and business owners and managers to introduce themselves and welcome Katie to her new position,” the chief said.
