Traffic Safety Advisory Committee


Currently, the Traffic and Safety Advisory Committee activities have been suspended until further action by the City Council.  


The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC) was established in 1991 by the City Council to make recommendations to the City Council regarding traffic safety, pedestrian safety and parking as it relates to traffic safety.

The TSAC is composed of five voting members, citizens-at-large, at least three who are residents of the city and up to two members who may be nonresidents of the city who are appointed by the city council on the basis of interest and qualification.  Members of the TSAC serve four-year terms.

The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee meets on the second Monday of bigstock-Young-Man-On-Pedestrian-Crossi-271563571the month, every other month at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  Meetings of the TSAC are open to the public, and there is time allotted for citizens input. 

Specific concerns can be submitted on the Traffic Complaint Form to either the Community Development Department at cddinfo@cityoflakeport.com or the City Clerk's office at admininfo@cityoflakeport.com.  Both departments are located at City Hall, 225 Park Street. Lakeport, CA  95453.
