The Clear Lake Environmental Research Center (CLERC) aims to reduce wildfire risks around homes by funding chipping programs throughout Lake County.

Who: All Lake County residents are eligible to receive chipping services. Programs vary depending on where you live.
What: Chipping is the shredding of woody material such as small logs and branches into wood chips.
