Exciting Updates from the Lakeport Public Works Department!
Tenth Street Pedestrian and Bike Improvement Project Completion: 
We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Tenth Street Pedestrian and Bike Improvement Project! From Manzanita St. to Pool St., this project enhances safety for pedestrians and promotes eco-friendly transportation options. Plus, we've installed a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at the intersection of Eleventh St. and North Brush St. for added safety!
Pavement Improvements Underway: 
Our pavement improvement project on Green St. and Loch Dr. is currently in progress. We're also expanding the project to include segments of Sayre St. and Hillcrest Dr. Please exercise caution when driving through construction zones! Thank you for your patience as we make our streets smoother and safer!
Upcoming Project:
South Main Street Paving and Pedestrian Enhancements
Looking ahead, we're gearing up for our next major project: South Main Street from First Street to Lakeport Boulevard. This project will include paving upgrades and pedestrian enhancements. Pedestrian improvements are set to begin in late May, followed by pavement rehabilitation.
